The Volvodesk

Seeing me working on the sofa, Kerri suggested that I get a workdesk that she'd seen in Ikea. I couldn't face shopping, and so was born the volvodesk. It seemed a shame to waste that exhaust pipe, some of which has already been recycled once on my Saab, and which makes a fine and sturdy support for this handy desk.

Just the right height for working on a chair or sofa, comfy angle for typing; big enough for a laptop and all the bits and pieces I need. 3 exhaust parts, a large door hinge plate to support the reclaimed plywood desktop.
Stable, sturdy and best of all, free.
