We've only been here five minutes and the place is already looking rather 'lived in'. Mum has been beavering away making curtains for us using organic cotton (we got it here), and they are very fine. In the kitchen -
and here...
in the bedroom, and some very fine stripey ones in the living room (although we've run out of curtain rings).
its all settling in nicely. Here's a few more now that we are in -
and... a bathroom that now doesn't need artificial light, for the first time in 60 years..
Enough piccies of the house - apologies visitors, but we're very proud of it. With any luck, the next post will bring news of a new inhabitant.....
Steve and Claire Golemboski-Byrne are living off grid in our converted truck, using wind and solar to power our lives. Creating low impact buildings from the materials found around us, and using green woodworking techniques to create beautiful and useful objects. Growing our own food, and living with dog, hens, and horses here in Northern Ireland.
Very cosy, your house is looking like a home. Patchwork curtins would look amazing in your home too
