Finally we've the 'new' cab on the chassis. With 6 volunteers, we managed to lift the thing from the trailer onto the dolly made to wheel it the length of the truck, and then get it down the incredibly tight gap to the front of the truck.
Lifting it up onto the chassis didn't prove too hard, but the luton prevents the cab from being lifted up and into its mounts, which will have to come off before everything sits snugly in place.
Given the weather warnings we've been having it's a good job the cab is now under cover and progress can begin to be made again.
