Some views in the sun

Finally some sun! This afternoon the mountains were especially clear, and the crickets were out and about.

The little field next to the house is surrounded by mature trees, and is a real sun trap in the afternoons. One more bonfire and we'll finally be rid of the last of the woodwormy, wet, beetle infested old wood.

It's great to be able to see the hens from here in the truck, and they were making the most of the good weather too.

Nothing can beat the smell of the pine trees, and its particularly strong in the sun. There can't be many better parkups than this..
